Meet Our Garden Community

The Patagonia Community Garden is home to a vibrant community of plants, people and pollinators. It's a place where people come together to celebrate nature and learn sustainable gardening practices.

We're located on one acre in the heart of Patagonia, Arizona.  The garden is run by the gardeners and other volunteers. Our gardeners range from 6 months to nearly 90, with singles, Seniors, families, and youth.

We welcome all to participate in the garden; we do not discriminate on race, age, gender, religion, experience, etc. Whether you are a total beginner or a master gardener, you are welcome here!

Garden plots or bins rent for $5/month, (plus 5 hours/month volunteer time) which includes water, compost, and access to tools.  Help cultivate the community corn patch or common raised container and reap the harvest!

We make compost onsite and raise worms too!

Our garden is also a gathering space, hosting community events, hands on learning, concerts, and community celebrations. Each September we hold a Pie Auction fundraiser, with dinner, local musicians and home-baked pies.
